KDOT LOCAL CONSULT MEETINGS 2025
What is Local Consult and Why is it Important?
Local Consult is KDOT’s public engagement process for the IKE program, held every two years to gather input from Kansans on potential expansion and modernization projects in each region. This process helps strengthen local partnerships, identify the KDOT programs that matter most to communities, and gather feedback on how KDOT can improve delivery.
Strong turnout at these events is critical in showing how important transportation is for our Kansas communities and businesses.
How will Kansas Aviation be Represented?
You can find our letter to KDOT Secretary Calvin Reed HERE requesting the continuation of dedicated breakout sessions focused specifically on airports and aviation issues. The KAA Board is encouraging you, our members, to attend a KDOT local consult meeting this fall to discuss your airport needs, the KAIP program and the next round of transportation funding to follow IKE.
