FRED A. TUPPER SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
This scholarship is made possible through the Kansas Association of Airports.
This scholarship is open to any Kansas boy, girl and all employees of KAA.
Voting members and their families are eligible. Families include spouses,
children and stepchildren, and must be at least 18 years of age. A recipient
will be awarded the scholarship only one time.
Purpose of the Scholarship:
To promote excellence in airport operation and management by providing funding to attend related workshops, training programs and for related college programs.
Scholarship Availability:
One scholarship for up to $1000 will be awarded annually at the Kansas Association of Airports Meeting.
Use of Scholarship Funds:
Funds awarded may be used for tuition, books and materials, transportation, room and board, and program fees related to the training program. One check will be issued directly to the sponsorship recipient.
How to Apply:
To apply for the KAA Scholarship, submit a one page request describing the program you wish to attend and how it will improve the professionalism of airport operation and/or management at your airport and in the State of Kansas or across the country. Make sure you include your name, address and daytime phone number. If you are not the designated KAA representative from your organization, also include one letter of recommendation from that representative. Attach a copy of your registration form, which shows the fees for the program you wish to attend.
Selection of Award:
The KAA Scholarship Committee will review all completed applications and select the applicant that most closely meets the purpose and requirements outlined above. The Recipient will be notified prior to the meeting, in which the award will be made.
